Gwother's farm yard friends - Poor little chicken (Story #1)
Article Entry Date: May 27,2022
Back many years ago, before I was even thought of, there was a young girl who loved going out playing with her pigs, chickens, and cows, and one day, while out playing, one of the cows came up to her about a chicken who had broken its foot. She rushed over to the chicken and noticed the poor little creature was surrounded by all the pigs, cows, and, of course, its chicken family.
As she approached the chicken, sitting on the ground, crying its little chicken eyes out, she took him in her arms and entered the house.
All the animals looked in through the window and watched as the little girl and her great-grandfather, neighbors, sisters, cousins, twin brothers, and uncle tied an ice cream stick on the little chicken's leg and then brought him back outside.
All the animals were amazed at what the little girl did with the help of a friend who helped their friend, and they all cheered.
Hip, Hip, Hooray, Gwother.

Gotta love, Gwother.

I wrote this story for my son, who is 28 years old, to help cheer him up after being in pain for most of the evening with a possible fracture to his leg, which was broken in the same area in 2011 from a school football game incident.
I love writing stories, and I knew my son would love this.
I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it for my son.

This would be the last story I would write for my son, as he would lose his life on October 12, 2023, in a car accident. To read more about that sad day, please click here (I LOST MY SON ON OCTOBER 12, 2023«). (Warning: This is about the day my son passed, in detail about what I was doing and what would happen on that fateful day. It was written to get it out of my head, as it was causing me bad anxiety attacks and slight depression. Though I still have them, it is not nearly as bad as it once was.)
Love you, my son.
Love, Daddy

Still proofreading and editing.

Second Novel

I am working on the new book, but I still haven't come up with a title for it yet.
I was hoping for 100,000 words, but I'm not sure if I'll make that goal or not. Then again, I still have seven or more chapters to go. Then I will begin the actual editing, which will be a very time-consuming process.
Wish me luck.
It is getting there, just very time-consuming, as this is the process of editing a book, but I love it....Continue reading...

Writing

This is just my experience; others have their ways of doing things, so this is mine.
#1: Pull from what you know.
Life has a way of providing us with all the information we need to develop various ways to express ourselves in story form.
From our first love, the first kiss, that particular moment we first saw the one we wanted to spend our lives with, to the birth of our child, or our first granddaughter, to getting married....Continue reading...
