  • First Novel
    • I started writing my first book in January 2017 at the Chatham County Community College Library in North Carolina while writing another book I'd been working on throughout 2016. I decided to move away from that book when I noticed it would take more time to finish it.

      I remembered a story I had initially thought of during my time with my son's mother in 1995.

      The story is about these two characters who like each other, but neither knows the other person's feelings - a typical teenage love story but with a twist.
      The story is based on my actual life experiences with the people I hold dearest to me from my teenage years.

      My son and I would visit the library several times a week to work on my book. The library is laid out naturally with seating that makes you feel like you are at your own home instead of a Library.

      I will always remember my time there as a wonderful experience with great staff and a friendly and inviting environment.

 Second Novel

I am working on the new book, but I still haven't come up with a title for it yet.
I was hoping for 100,000 words, but I'm not sure if I'll make that goal or not. Then again, I still have seven or more chapters to go. Then I will begin the actual editing, which will be a very time-consuming process.
